Integrative Health Partners is looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to fill an open position for a Health Coach & Medical Scribe (HCMS) to support a Naturopathic Physician in Seattle. The ideal candidate has direct health care experience, enjoys thinking critically, and wants to be part of a team of doctors and several medical students. Candidates must also be able to work independently, effectively problem solve, and take initiative in appropriate situations.
This position is great for someone who wants to help build a growing practice and get experience in the medical field.
Since the practice is small, the scope of this position will be wide. The HCMS will be responsible for a range of clinical and administrative tasks.
Along with our experienced Health Coaches and team of medical students, the new HCMS will be the right hand of the medical director and as a result, will have the opportunity to learn a great deal about diseases such as endocrine disorders, PCOS, and chronic infections, as well as gain experience in naturopathic treatment modalities.
This position is full-time, 34-40 hours per week, depending on the patient load. Working hours between 8:30am and 5pm, Monday – Friday, so potential applicants must have full availability during these hours.
Base compensation will be $16-17, depending on experience.
WA State Medical Assistant Certification or Certified Emergency Medical Technician OR
1 year of direct patient care experience in the medical field through employment or volunteering
Excellent English writing skills
Motivated and able to work independently, very friendly and welcoming to our patients
Minimum typing speed of 65 words per minute. Ability to learn quickly on the job.
Experienced with Microsoft Office programs
Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding procedures
Phlebotomy certification a plus
